This whole adventure is too funny!!! :pofl:

I know we are not hearing the whole story. There is a soils map and a site plan which should tell them what kind of soil they are getting into from day one.

Now I am curious to the real story

Not only that, but the developer is typically responsible for having had a geo-technical engineer certify that the pad was compacted properly using suitable fill material. Dunkin Donuts might have a real gripe if it was in their contract to be delivered a suitable pad site.

Oh-well, I'm just excited to have a DD in the near future.:mmm:

It's been Foodie's attempts to put an all-you-can-eat spinach bar in that location.:yuck:

April seems so far away.............. I can't wait for DD !!! Count me in as a loyal customer esp. if they plan to have the drive thru! I am so addicted I make the 20 min drive to Leesburg - I think I spend more on gas than on coffee!!!

Not sure....they've fenced it off (again) and i saw a bull dozer over there last night sitting where there should be a building. There's pile of gravel (again) in the parking area....so i assume they're doing something. i'm surprised they didn't wait until the ground was frozen and they couldn't dig any footers...so this could drag on further :)

    Take your pick:

"Hope is the last thing that dies in man; and though it be exceedingly deceitful, yet it is of this good use to us, that while we are traveling through life it conducts us in an easier and more pleasant way to our journey's end." -- François de la Rochefoucauld

    or

'Hope is the worst of evils, for it prolongs the torments of man. "-- Friedrich Nietzsche

I choose the former!!! I need, yes need, my coffee and donuts.
