    I still love pomodoro in the ice house for my pizza... mmm... can't wait to try all of our new close restaurants though!

    Actually, I've found the Mediterranean Breeze has a pizza that's closest to my old neighborhood pizzaria. Now, my neighborhood was the Italian section of Elizabeth NJ. Old friends of mine send me emails about the Sopranos and laugh, because we lived next to guys like that.

    If you find one Chatty..let's go :D Oh, and not only *cheap* but GOOD. If I wanted watered down drinks I'd go to TGIF.

    Isn't that new pub open in Broadlands? Anyone tried it out?

    BTW - Matsuba Sushi now has an ABC license so they sell beer now. I know they didn't in the beginning. I love this place. Good food, nice people. My new favorite restaurant!

    Jen and Chatty ... the Broadlands Pub is opening this weekend .... I called as I am anxious for them to open, need to get my "pub on" close to home.
    I image it being something like "cheers" ... "MAAAARIEEEEE!!!!"

    I heard it from a source, who heard it from a friend, that Outback Steakhouse is going to be one of the new restaurants in front of the Safeway shopping center...Fosters all around.:D

    Supposedly...and I mean supposedly...a Dunkin Doughnuts/TCBY (or some sort of doughnut/yogurt combo) is going into the other pad site by the Mobile/Circle K.

    Doughnuts and Beer...now Homer will really be happy!!!

    We ate at the new Broadlands Pizza place last night, and it was great!! They have worked out all their opening day jitters. Service was good and prompt, food arrived within 10 to 15 minuted of ordering, it was hot and delicious. Next up is the Pub.

    Not bad. Chicken marsala and a burger. Both were good and even got a free strawberry daiquiri because the bartender was swamped and it took 10 minutes to get it. They have a lot of big screens in there and a newfangled juke box. Only complaint (sorry) was the ever-present strollers filled with kids. Very rarely have I ever seen a bar bathroom trash can half-full of disposable diapers.
