American Idol

Okay...don't laugh too hard now but I am addicted to American Idol! Anyone else? Who are you rooting for to win? I'm still torn between Nadia and Anwar although Carrie has a rich vibrant voice too.

 

Carrie is my favorite but I actually really like Bo too. Anwar has a great voice. Constantine does nothing for me, he can sing but eh, he not all that

 

I stopped watching when Lindsay Cardinale was voted off.

 

I'll admit I'm addicted too. My favorites are Carrie and Bo. My 3 year old is also a fan. She likes the "long hair boys".

 

My son and daughter-in-law watch the show regularly...he's a Bo fan and she's a Carrie fan. Both of them dislike Constantine.

It was so great watching Fantasia perform last night and seeing how much she has grown. I've got her CD and it is fantastic! My favorite is her song called "Baby Mama" all about single mom's raising kids!

 

I'm sorry ... I just don't see the attaction to this show. The best part of it is that it precedes the show House

It's just smut tv. Some people can't get enough The over dramatization by Ryan Seacrest is quite horrible. They can also cut the show to 1/2 hour if there wasn't such drama.

House is quite an awesome show!

 

How does singing constitute smut tv? Granted Ryan Seacrest is annoying and they could cut the results show down to about a 5 minute commercial but the contestants this year are quite talented and fun to watch. It's nice to have a show where not everyone looks like Barbie and Ken.

 

you need a tivo/dvr to watch the show... I agree the drama is stupid..... and neilz has it right... House rox!

 

Hey it's good clean fun. No sex, violence, etc. It's entertaining and some of the proceeds even go to the American Red Cross! So why all the fuss.
I think Bo is HOT!

 

i pretty much generalize fox as the smut tv channel with smut = mindless; not smut as in smut smut. i'm not blasting it..i'm addicted too! kinda like i call cosmo a smut magazine but it's certainly not smut like a porn mag would be

 

Darn...I've got a conflict and will be unable to watch tomorrow night's viewing. Would someone be kind enough to post a review and critique?

I think it should end up between Bo and Nadia. Both can make songs I don't even like sound good. And they both perform like "Idols."

 

I do agree with your comment that they both perform like "Idols." While it is a matter of personal taste for me, I just can't picture Bo as the epitomy of an American Idol but I will concede he is talented and has a presence.

I am torn between Nadia and Anwar with Carrie closely behind.

It's times like these I wish I had a tivo since I won't be able to catch tonights performances.

 

Carrie & Bo rocked, I don't care what the judges said about Carrie. I really truely think Scott needs to get voted out, followed by Anthony.

Anyone else think Paula is a useless piece of fluff as a judge? Simon is usually right on, I rarely disagree w/him but I did on a few points last night. And Randy (Paula too) doesn't really ever give good reasoning behind his "it was just ayight for me". Ok..what can they do to improve?

 

Carrie is still my favorite. I've really liked Bo, but last night didn't do it for me. I'd put him in the bottom three based on his performance-- but I still hope he doesn't get voted off. Nadia and Anthony would also be in the bottom three based only on last night.

Paula-- what a waste.

 

Paula is on some kind of medication or other substance the last three weeks. I don't think it's coke in that glass in front of her...well, maybe coke, but not the drinking kind.

 

And what's up w/the way she claps? She acts like a petulant 3 year old. Perhaps she's on the same thing that Anna Nicole Smith is
