Do they have a schedule as to when they are delivering the new totes to what streets on what days or are they just randomly doing it? I would like to be on the look out for our new one, since the one we got from the old company disappeared the first time we put trash out in it. The home page of the Broadlands website says the new ones will be delivered 3/1 - 3/30 but that is such a wide range of dates and it sounds like some people have their new ones already.

Due to the large number of trash cans and recycling bins that have to be delivered - nearly 3000 of each - the contractor needed a few weeks to get them all delivered. Remember the contractor must also continue collecting trash from his current customers while delivering our new receptacles. New Vision will collect the old cans once we have notified them that Patriot has completed delivery of the new ones. If you receive an early delivery of Patriot's trash cans and bins please stow them as you are able, there will be no violations for trash cans in view enforced during the remainder of the month of March.

i think the other guys took their stuff with them yesterday for those who received Patriot cans the other day. They took our recycle bin...now i wish i'd putting the green monster out in hope they'd take that too...b/c we're limited on spaace in our garage too. i hope they take that can on Monday---if not--i'm just going to call them and tell them to come get it.

New Vision started collecting trash receptacles yesterday, March 12. Unfortunately, they did not communicate their intent to management. It was our understanding that they would not be picked up until the last week of March. Patriot has already delivered cans and recycling bins in the areas that were affected. You may begin using them even though Patriot has asked that residents refrain from using them until their contract begins on April 2nd. If you had a trash receptacle that you personally purchased and it was removed by New Vision, please contact the HOA office and we will try to retrieve it from New Visions.
We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused but wish our residents to know that New Vision removed these without authorization from management.

We built 8' high shelves in the garage from 2x4's, the bottom shelf is set up as a gardening work area, yet high enough to fit the lawnmower and trash container underneath. We have pics if anyone wants to see the design.

Our bins were delivered on Saturday and although I requested two recycling bins and no toter I received the standard one and one. So I called and left a message and within 1.5 hours someone returned with the extra recycling bin and took the toter away. Good first impression - very responsive!

Maybe the admins should create new categories like "Cheers and Jeers" or "Uppers and Downers" or "Shout Out and Called Out". people are always quicker to spread bad news, so a category JUST for accolades might encourage people to say nice things too...

When you receive your new trash can from Patriot Disposal, you will notice a number imprinted on the side of the receptacle. This is a unique serial number. Please make note of it. In case your trash can is swept away by high winds, you will be able to identify it as yours. Please encourage your neighbors who may not be forum readers to do the same.

Since we arent using the new until April, will we get dinged for leaving it out. I barely have enough room for one large can; l really dont have room for two in my garage.

Will we get some kind of notice that it is time for the old trash can to be picked up by New Vision? Also are we allowed to use the new one now, or do we have to wait until 4/1?

New Visions will pick up their cans - some have already been picked up - between today and the end of March. If they have already taken you receptacle and Patriot has delivered a new one you may use it. If you still have a New Visions can continue using it through March 30th. Patriot begins picking up the trash on April 2nd.

How do we know when we should leave the cans at the curb because New Vision is coming to get them? I don't want to miss it or leave it out there when I shouldn't?

Just leave the old can out. Trash can violations will not be enforced during the month of March. New Visions has told us they will pickup between the 26th and the 31st.

They should be picking them up on trash days. If they don't I would leave them at the curb.
