Dunkin Donuts is already being built by the Sunoco. Folks who haven't passed by there lately will have a pleasant surprise when they see the progress that has been made on the building!

I 2nd the request for a Baja Fresh!

I'd 3rd the request for Baja Fresh!

As far as Dunkin Donuts goes, the owner said they're thinking July is when it will open!

mdcrim, thanks for sharing. I had no idea, so this is really good news!

I found the proposal for the facility at

    http://www.loudoun.gov/controls/speerio/resources/RenderContent.aspx?data=d2171bcd7e2b40e38fe6029cc2035c9d&tabid=327&fmpath=%2FPlanning+Commission%2FPC+Public+Hearing+Staff+Reports%2F2008+Public+Hearing+Staff+Reports%2F5-15-08+Public+Hearing%2FSPEX+2008-0019+Beaumeade+Merritt+Tract-Beaumeade+Gun+Club+Training+Facility

There are aerial photos of the proposed site and directions. Anyone interested should check it out.

I know it is not an REI, but there will be an Eastern Mountain Sports over by Target and Wegmans.

REI will probably never come out here. They have Fairfax and generally stick to city centers or areas close. Downtown DC would open before Ashburn from what I know.

EMS, do they sell ammo? I hate going all the way to Dicks or Blue ridge for ammo. It's a pain in the butt.

You know what else would be nice, (and don't laugh) a bowling alley. Whoa, that would be cool, especially one that does the disco bowling like in Germantown.

Doesn't Wal-Mart sell ammo? Of course that's not really any easier than going to Dicks.

I avoid Wal-Mart like the plague. It's always crowded, and I never get out of there without something that needs to go back. I would rather go to target, but alas, they don't sell ammo.

Same here. I don't think we've gone to Wal-Mart in years. It's the worst shopping experience ever.

Honestly, as far as food & services, I'm pretty happy. The "old-timers" (like me) that have lived here for 7 or so years remember when the the best burger you could get came from McDonalds, the only pizza was Manhattan, and the only grocery store was the "not-so Giant, Giant". We used to trek to Leesburg for some mediocre pizza. Now we have some good Italian joints, Bonefish, a decent Steak House, eclectic pizza (flatbread), Jamaican....shall I go on?

Ok, I could still go for a Dunkin Donuts and a Mexican Restaurant that feels like a fiesta.

We have been here almost from the very beginning (we were one of the first 100 owners). It was Giant and.... give me a sec, I am thinking.... ummm, that's about it, Giant!

Oh, a chinese place in Parkhurst Plaza too.

Nope it was the store I can't remember that is now Shoppers then food lion then giant .

I beat you all since we designed and built some of the first homes in ashburn farms when there was non of you because there was no homes for any of you to live in :pofl:

See if it was not for designers developers and builders you all would not be here :devil2: Now you hate us and want to drive us out :devil2: hmmmm Why move here in the first place and over crowd every thing then blame the development world for all the problems. :devil2: hmmmm
ha ha ha ha ha Now we have seriously overcrowded schools which getting worse by the day, over crowded roads and extremely high taxes. If the home buyers did not buy then there would be no problems except for broke builders which you all hate anyway. So the problems are really created by the people moving out here not the builders. :devil2: ;);););););););););););) So don't blame the building world blame yourselves for looking for paradise :devil2::devil2::devil2::devil2: ha ha ha ha ha ha Just felt like teasing you all ;););););) But you all really are the creator of the problems not the builders you all bought from in the first place. :devil2::devil2::devil2: Boy this is fun turning the tables;););););););)

So if the developers builders and designers were missing in the first place then nothing would be missing because there would be nobody here to miss anything. :devil2::devil2::devil2: I am having too much fun tonight :devil2::devil2::devil2:
