Do you know any one who can foster a dog?

This was sent to me by one of my friends from back home in PA. I am allergic to dogs but would love to help. Does anyone know a person or place that would be willing to foster?


Barkley's family is going through a divorce that was once a friendly one - now it has turned a bit ugly due to ex hubby's new girlfriend. The ex was supposed to keep Barkley until the wife's new home is being built but he does not want to keep up his end of the bargain. The two kids are devastated.... The wife is living with her parents during this transition and the parents really don't want the dog at the house and she fears bringing him to their house in that every dog they have owned has been hit by a car on their busy street. She said she would rather re-home him then him getting killed......What I am hoping for is a long term foster 5 -7 months who will care for Barkley while mom gets her life in order - her kids love the dog and is worried about "the life lesson" they are forced to endure on top of the divorce. So I am hoping there is a kind soul amongst my friends who would be willing to help this family keep their TT.....all expenses will be paid for by the mom.

I have to say I know this is an odd request but I have facilitated three of these situations in the past year - and all had a very happy ending.....

The dog is located in Virginia - close to West Virginia and transportation can be arranged.

Barkley is a neutered 5 1/2 year old who is good with kids........

What type of dog is Barkley? Do you know if he is good around other dogs?

 

He is a Tibitan Terrier and yes he is fine around other dogs.

He is a very sweet dog just in the middle people issues.
