Our Summerbrooke pool and two High Sierra lifeguards who work there were featured in a Loudoun Times-Mirror article this week. You can see the online version at: http://www.loudountimes.com/index.php/news/article/international_lifeguards_save_lives_while_pursuing_passions_for_travel898/

I spoke with one of the featured lifeguards (David) and mentioned that I had read the article. He asked me if I had a copy of the actual newspaper, as he had only seen it online. I delivered my paper to him today. Even though we are transitioning to a paperless world, there's still nothing like seeing yourself in (news)print. When I asked him, he said he'd be happy to have additional copies if any of our Broadlands neighbors were throwing out the newspaper.

So if you're headed to Summerbrooke pool and have the May 30th edition of the Loudoun Times-Mirror, David would be happy to have it if you're finished with it!

    Thanks!

I have a couple of extra copies I picked up from LTM. Are they still wanted items?

FYI--David is also amazing at teaching swim lessons! I hope he comes back next summer!
