If anyone is or knows of a good drywaller/home improvement guy in the area please post their information. I need a 16X14 room in the basement drywalled.

    Thanks in advance...

Just had my basement done by E&A Contractors. They did a good job, and were fast. (8 days for the entire basement, and that was working 1/2 days). Also, I've got 7 sheets of 4x12 drywall leftover, if you'd like it, you can have it.

I did my own drywall in my basement, but I totally failed at mudding. I found a guy who does construction work on the side (evening & weekends). He and his friends did a great job mudding my basement and covering my mistakes!

His name is David Rojas, and his cell-phone is 703-868-1304. I know he'd much prefer to do the drywall & mudding so he doesn't have to deal with amateur drywalling!

When I hired him, I was worried that he would do a rush job and slap mud up and get it done in a day or two. He and his friends did a thorough job. Three coats, taped, sanded, corner bead, the works. He was a bit unreliable about when he would show up (sometimes he'd call and say he'd be late, sometimes no call), but when he did show up he was all business. Thorough, high-quality, and they'd work for hours without a break. Always left the work zone clean (which after sanding is NOT a minor thing. BTW, drywall dust goes everywhere throughout a house, so expect that.
