My son wanted to go to swimming with his friends today at the Broadlands SW pool, and showed the electric pool pass. For some reasons, the scanner was not working, and the staff would not let him in until he showed the actual badge. He had to wait for 20 mins in the parking lot, waiting for me to drive up and gave him the actual pass. That is crazy, shouldn't the staff let him in after he showed the electronic pass with his picture on it? Of course, I talked to 2 of the lifeguards at the check-in, and to my surprise, they didn't understand English. There was this man in the blue shirt (looked like Manager) came out and talked to me. After realizing the scan was not working, he said as long as we can show electronic pass with the picture, the kid can get in. OMG, why that not being communicated to the staff so we don't waste our time? Anyway, just passing the information just in case.
