Hey - That looks darn familiar....(I think I formatted that darn thing!)
The threads you replied to when it was set to the default were set to 'subscribed with instant email notification'. What you changed was your default choice for NEW threads you reply to.
The forum tracks each thread you subscribe to independantly. So if you goto your UserCP, you can list all current subscriptions and edit the notification mechanism for each independantly if desired.
So what you were likely experiencing was earlier threads were still subscribed with notification.. and would continue to do so until you changed the subscription for that individual thread.
Thanks.. just imported about 75 more.. enjoy
eh, it's not like kids would put their real birthday on a site if they wanted in anyways...
yes, but in terms of liability the owner of the site has abided by the law.
Does the 'I am over 18 yrs old' link on every porn site keep out minors? no, but its still there.
Does the fine print at the bottom of every car commercial REALLY keep people from being mislead?
Honestly, its just due diligence on our part. That's the last we are going to say on the topic.
I don't know if i screwed up, but yesterday to get on this for the first time I had to accept a new password that was E-mailed to me. The question is, how do I change this password to one that I can remember? I'm sure it's right under my nose, but I can't find where to do this. Thanks
Use your new password to log in and then go to the top bar that says USER CP once you click on that there is a place on the left hand side that says change id and password or something to that effect. There you can change it back to anything that you want
Great job fine tuning the forum...It's better than when it was launched! !
Is there a spell check function?
The help pages list rss feeds, but they don't seem to be turned on?
I turned on RSS for you. You can access it via
Looks awesome!...Thank you for adding so many features and the hard work you put into the design and functionality.
because it's spam - that gets removed as soon as we see it. You should always use the 'report post' link at the bottom of any posts you see problems with.
Where is the report post feature? I couldn't find it.
It's the red and white triangle w/ the exclamation point in it under the poster's name.
Ok thanks, I was searching all over while trying not to look !
normally we get it before most people see it (there were actually 4 threads deleted yesterday).. but usually we like to sleep too, so things may linger for a bit before a mod comes along.
"Trying" not to look? LOL I thought it was just in the wrong spot. Looked like they were trying to sell Cialis
Hopefully this doesn't sound too naive...is this the type of spam kids can receive if it's not blocked by parents?
