    Yes - but most mail clients these days would block the images unless you opt'd to view them.

    In a mail client you have spam filtering moving messages, and then on top of that you have viewing security such as blocking links/images. On a forum, those steps don't exist.

    I know others have thanked you folks in the past, but I haven't personally...so here goes.

    Moderators and administrators of this forum: many thanks for all you do to monitor and improve this forum for us. It's a wonderful resource, and I'm very grateful to you all for your hard work. I know there's a lot you do that I don't know about, and you often take flak for different things...so I wanted to end this year by saying I appreciate you!

    Yes, as you say, our goal is to keep all this junk behind the curtain so no one is even distracted by it or diverts the topic of the site... but depending on how active you are you may catch glimpses of it at times :)

    The less the users see - the better we are doing :)

    It would be handy to have keyword alerts (ie I'm looking for an elliptical .. email me when a post contains a keyword).
