Our front doors have that lever handle w/a deadbolt lock - is it against the HOA to change the door knob? We want one that has a lock on the knob plus the deadbolt. Do they make those lever things w/locks?

i don't know if it is against the HOA, but we added a double deadbolt to our door. I did take note that no one on our street had done that... so maybe it is not permitted....but we have a toddler who loves to mess with locks and I can't have her dashing out the front door into the street!! Our locksmith was great- we got bars on our sliders and he put a double deadbolt in the door to the garage as well. Leesburg Lock & Key 703-777-2240. They had the best prices I could find- better than Baldino's- better than Spencer's. Good luck!

There is no requirement to submit any change in front door hardware, changes to the door itself would be another matter.
