Home Depot opens

    Not sure how many were aware, but the Home Depot around the corner from us (On Shellhorn Rd) opened for business yesterday (the 16th).

    Just came back from there. Great store! It's kind of nice that it's in an out-of-the-way location - not crowded at all. I wonder if there is any other retail going in nearby??

    Shoppers Food Warehouse was originally slated for the adjacent lot, but when SuperFresh went belly-up at Asburn Road, they moved in there.

    So, perhaps another grocery will take the lot...
