    Charlotte and others--

Charlotte--To answer your query about "Broasted Chicken", yes, I know all about the Broasted Chicken. It is a distributorship/franchise that is sold by a company called Broaster. The process is where is the chicken is pressure cooked to maintain the chicken's moisture content after it is marinated and coated with a "special seasoned coating" and deepfried in the pressure fryer.

Broaster pressure fries its chicken, fries, etc. and is different that Kentucky Fried Chicken's process. Friends of ours who owns a business, King's BBQ Pit and Chicken at Lancaster County Dutch Market in Germantown, MD, uses the "broasted" method of pressure frying their chickens, etc. Broasted chicken is unique in that the fried chicken is not "greasy or oily" like Southern Fried Chicken or other ways to eat fried chicken.

Broaster's web site is below if you are curious--

    www.broaster.com (Broaster's web site/info.)

You can by the pre-breaded pieces from a foodservice distributor store in Springfield, VA and then bake the pre-breaded chicken pieces or fry chicken in a deep fryer at home. I would NOT recommend pressure frying chicken at home. It takes SPECIAL EQUIPMENT to do the pressure frying method.

It would be a good business if we ever do a "brick and mortar" store. However, we are doing a web-based business first of Bulk Foods and Baked Goods. Thanks for the idea. We already have thought of that option.

    Have a good week--

    Blessings--

    Foodie:)
