Relay for Life

Hello everyone,

I will be participating in the Relay for Life of Western Loudoun. I am doing this as an activity for Broadlands Cares, an activity where I hope to raise $1,000 for the American Cancer Society.

I have lost family and friends to cancer, and I am sure I am not alone with this, I believe that many of you have been affected by this horrible disease. I hope that some of you can find it in their hards to support me with a donation, either a financial donation or, if you have access, a donation such as a gift certificate that we can raffle off at the event.

Hi Marianne!

I'm also going to be walking in the same event at Briar Woods HS! Our company has (very recently) formed a team due to the very unexpected loss of a dear friend, who was also my boss. He died 28 days after being diagnosed at the age of 38. We're missing him tremendously and doing this to honor his memory. We're happy to take part in such an important event!

 

That is wonderful. I just went on the site yesterday again and bought some Luminaria for some of my family members that I lost to cancer.

I hope that some of our neighbors will be inclined to support us with a small donation.
