Telecomm / IT Looking for Work

Hi. Figured I'd post here in case someone knows someone who knows someone who might know of a job that would be a good fit for me.

I'm currently in the job market due to my primary responsibilities at my current job being broken down and given to other departments within my organization.

My main "familiarity" is telecommunications billing, which is a combination of having technical knowledge of data/voice networking and phone company infrastructure, as well as cost analysis and other basic accounting skills. I've worked for a full fledged CLEC and placed countless orders with the big phone companies. I've also supported Blackberries for 300+ employees, basic cell phones, and have a year or so of basic desktop/network troubleshooting under my belt.

I'm a firm believer that what you're doing matters much less than the environment you're in and the people/company you're with. I find it hard not to laugh when people ask me if I want to stay in telecommunications - the bills and spreadsheets I look at all day have very little to do with telecommunications it feels like. My strong suit is coming into a situation, learning what I need to learn quickly, and getting the job done efficiently. Point is, I probably see myself as some kind of consultant in 10 years, but for now I'm a guy with 3 years of Telecom/IT experience who will do well in just about any related job.

Still hunting. Open to just about anything 40k/yr and up. Experience is in the IT world but my education is in writing and I'm a quick learner.
