Termite Swarmers

    Has anyone found termite swarmers outside their house recently and what solution have you done for it? We found some on our swing set and had Terminix come out for an inspection. At that time they did not find any inside or outside the house or any indication of any damage. They did give us a quote for $2,000 to install termite stakes around the perimeter of our house which seemed a little high.

    We've seen the swarms up around highview trail place. We saw them a few years ago as well and called a company to come out and look. Apparently it's not uncommon for them to go out as a swarm to find a new place to live. The company we hired put in the termite traps and never found anything. In the end they said they likely found another place to live. This year we saw the swarm again on Saturday. They were around the house for about an hour and then never saw another trace. We still have the steaks out in our yard and I see no evidence of them still. Guess our house wasn't tasty enough :)
