Trash and Recycling in the Broadlands

    There will be no trash collection in the Broadlands Community on February 7, 2003 due to the awesome snow we got.

    Trash pickup will be on Saturday, February 8th instead.

    It seems to be the policy of AAA Recycling and Trash Services to reschedule any service for the following Saturday after a cancellation. The HOA offices are informed of cancellations and rescheduling by AAA, so call the main HOA number (703-729-9704) during business hours for an update.

    In addition, everyone should keep in mind that when trash pickup is re-scheduled for the following day, you can expect that the trash will be picked up earlier than it normally does. This is due to the fact that there will probably be less trash put out by the curb, and thus the trash route will be completed more quickly by AAA.

    Keep this in mind when you plan on putting out your trash for pickup on a 'rescheduled' day.
