To the idiot who can't park, thanks for putting a nice, long dent in the side of my car. It's so bad, both of my doors will probably have to be replaced. At least you could have been honest and left a note. But, I guess I have money laying around, so I'll cover the damage, thanks.

K-Mart, obviously...We got a nice scrape and dent in our car today too! Our car was parked on the street, and some neighborly person made a nice addition to the paint scheme and we did not get a note either!

A lot of people around here are just not very friendly drivers. I am getting a new perspective for how bad it is, because I am teaching my daughter to drive now. I just love when people lay on their horns at a red light when they have to wait a couple of seconds for us to do the right turn on red. Do people ever stop to think that the driver could be a newbie? No, they only care about themselves. Me, me, me.

Yea, it's very sad. When my son was first learning, it was the same way. I got so fed up with people being impatient with him. I just told him to just worry about himself and how he drives and not let these people scare him.

If the people who hit my car had just left a note, I wouldn't be mad. Things happen. It's the point of them not caring one iota about others. BTW, I'm pretty sure I know who did it. Problem is proving it.

A driver this morning (with whom I almost had an accident) pulled out right in front of me after running the stop sign and then proceded to run 3 more stop signs in a row with barely a pause at each one.

Then, 5 minutes later, turning left from Shellhorn onto Loudoun County Pkwy, jerk driver #1 turned left from the right-hand lane almost hitting the driver in front of me who was turning left from the left-hand lane. Jerk driver #2 (albeit in a sort of admirable jerkiness) began to switch lanes in front of jerk driver #1 every time he tried to change lanes and fly around people. Quite a display...

napper.... call the sheriff and see if they can help. If there is damage to both cars, a trained eye might be able to get enough evidence.

That intersection at Shellhorn/LoCo Pkwy really needs a light... some drivers pull out in the center and linger forever waiting for traffic to all but disappear, which doesn't happen all that often in rush hour. There is a 3rd lane that starts right there, but some folks are really timid to use it. I'll bet that I witness on average at least one 'undercut' per week where someone will drive around a waiting car... no, it's not safe but I feel the frustration they do at times. A light would resolve all of that.

Instead of hurting everyone - fix the real problem - the bad drivers.

If the issue is illegal driving - you don't put a traffic light in to stop the offenders - you write a few tickets.

I hope your right. I wasn't trying to imply that we need a traffic light at every intersection where idiots misbehaved, just my observations of what I sense is a fatality waiting to happen - once of these days someones going to dart around the outside and get t-boned at the full 50-55 mph.
