Need Help! Yahoo email

I am having lots of problems with my yahoo email lately. I have been through the yahoo help, no one answered the phone and most of their help online seems to be about "can't login" and "if your account was hacked". No info has been changed in my account (hacked) and I did recently change my password. I recently uninstalled Browser Safeguard, don't even know where that came from. I have Norton Internet Security all up to date. I frequently clear cache in my browser (Firefox). Not having any other problems with my desktop, Windows 7. Here are my problems:

*slow response times
*error message "trouble loading message"
*"temporary failure" messages
*clicking send then taking a LONG time to send message
*clicking on a folder or inbox or spam and just getting a blank screen
*emails being sent and never received by other party

any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!

 

I've been having some of the same problems with yahoo lately, so wouldn't necessarily say its a problem with your account. Haven't experienced the lost email you reference, but the slow response times and temporary failure messages along with the blank screen have been ongoing for the past 3-4 weeks. Don't have an answer, but its not just you!

 

yea I agree... I can say that these problems sound familiar with me too. If I was not so attached to Yahoo I would leave them... it is a crap product and the spam/security issues are only getting worse.

 

Well, good to hear I'm not the only one. Not glad for you guys but I was beginning to think I had a virus. Would love to ditch yahoo also but too attached!!!

 

Ditto, recent issues with hyperlinks, sending emails, attachments, you name it. Whatever they did recently to try and improve was a complete failure.

I've had my account for over ten years, wish I could leave but really, is anything else even better? I have a Gmail account with thing features I hate too so...

 

I have experienced similar issues.
