Yea, either one bulb or three color 'tubes', they usually need to be replaced over time.

hubby says it has tubes not bulbs, and we haven't had any maintenance issues at all with this tv.

The description said "shelf" as in one so I didn't know if it would work. Still, the door would block the line of sight for the remote we have. Unless it's open and wide enough to put them all side by side. Hmmm...

Is it in the garage or by a front door (no stairs, right)?

How did you move it in @ 300 lbs?

it's in our foyer, just a cpl of porch stairs. IIII didn't move it- :p The Man and his friend did, or the movers did- I don't quite recall. but 2 men had no problem moving it.

it also slid very easily in our living room when we rearranged- we put those little sliders under it and the man moved it by himself across the floor.
