My car was keyed in front of my house Sunday night. The deputy said there was a crime wave that happened in the community over night. I can only assume a last summer fling for the charming youth of our area.

Awbrey Place. I saw on the latest Crime Alerts website there were about 8 personal property vandalism reports for Sep 2nd.

Took my car to the D&V Body Shop for an estimate. $2,200 dollars of damage.

May be a good idea to set up a surveillance camera that turns on only when it senses movement. Decent wireless cameras are not that expensive anymore and you can also monitor remotely from your mobile phone. Anything to catch the bastards....

I thought about that but I just hate the idea of living in a neighborhood where I have to put up cameras to keep my stuff safe.
