    Dear Neighbors

You may have heard of this already.

I received the below in my email. First red flag: it came from a gmail address.

I called the 800 number to complain and -- second red flag -- they asked me to go to a website called www.teamviewer.com. DON'T ! That allows someone to take virtual control of your desktop. They can then change you password and have control of your computer.

After wiping out my history and cleaning my cookies I saw that I had received no billing of this nature.

This is a total scam. Hit delete. Hope this is helpful.

Norton has been nothing but a scam since the beginning in my estimation.

Agree, never call the number listed. Call the number on your statement or go to their website for contact info and confirm they sent the email.

Good advice. One of the easiest ways people get scammed is by assuming an email is legitimate.
