I have an old Ikea children's loft bed with a slide from about 2005. It is about 4 ft off the ground and the slide comes out a bit into the room when assembled. I took it down a while ago and it is in my house taking up space. A relative who was going to take it doesn't have room.

If anybody wants it, you will need a truck or van. It is still partially assembled (like the slats in the base) and I labeled the connections with masking tape (A to A, B to B, etc). I cannot find the actual instructions. But, I remember that the weight limit on it is 100 pounds, so it is for kids in about the 5 to 12 year old range.

    PM me if interested.

Yes. The bed is still available. One other person is asking questions about it too.

It is a twin size. You would just need a mattress, no boxspring. About 4 ft off the ground when assembled. The slide comes out away from the frame at an angle and into the room.

I don't have any picture since it is now disassembled. It is a light colored wood - so, basically it is a light pine colored. And, parts of the slide are white.

PM me if you would like to come take a look at it.

    Rocio,

Check your inbox for my phone number and address. We will be around this weekend - but, in and out running errands.

I would hate to just throw this bed frame away when I think that someone would be able to enjoy it. So, let me try to give it away again. PM me if interested.

Why not donate it to a charitable organization and take a tax deduction?

I would be glad to, but it is in a lot of pieces. Mostly disassembled, but some parts would be a pain to take apart and put back together. Any ideas?

I don't know - maybe assemble as much as will make it easy to be loaded. Start with Habitat for Humanity Loudoun County http://www.loudounhabitat.org/
I've donated to them in the past; bed, large dining table and chairs. They dispatch two men to cart furniture to the store.
