Is this a standard fare of after school activities or is there more to expect from this?

New here and asking because of the available spots being filled up rather quickly.

    Thanks in advance.

I imagine folks prefer CASA for cost and convenience. Mill Run CASA operates out of Mill Run, so kids don't get bussed anywhere else. If by "more to expect from this" you mean targeted development of certain skills, CASA isn't the place. However, Ms. Juanita tries her best, and tries to have a diverse set of activities to keep the kids engaged.

We like it for the flexibility of being able to pick up our child whenever our schedule allows us to. Rarely does my kid stay there beyond an hour to hour and half, and for that type of arrangement it is a good option for us. Also allows us the option of participating in ASEP (After school enrichment programs) that the PTA organizes, and the child can go to CASA right after that ends. ASEP is offered twice during the year for 6-10 weeks (i think) each.

We also use CASA primarily for the low cost and convenience. Being able to sign up for the PTA activities has been a plus.
