There is a crack in my foundation wall and the ground water is making its way to my basement.
Any suggestions for a contractor/company that does this work?
    Actually, what are they called?

I think you may need a Mason.

It's been about five years since we had our foundation crack repaired but I can say that the work has held up and we have seen zero issues regarding the repair.

The company we used was Braddock Construction - we almost went with NV Waterproofing instead. Both have good reviews online.

As always, be sure to check current licensing and bonding before using ANY contractor. :)

How old is your house? We had a small crack near our basement window when we did our walk through and our builder (Winchester) came back and repaired it about 3 years after we moved in when it spread and started leaking. They did the epoxy fill. It was covered by the warranty so check with the builder before you spend any money. We also had some water leaking in and pooling on the basement floor. The basement was finished a few years after the repair and it's been completely dry.

The house was built in 2005. I am not the original owner, not sure if the warranty gets transferred or is active.
Thanks will check out Braddock. Had a chat with NV Waterproofing - they are busy for next couple of weeks but said they can squeeze me in if they are working close by.
Contacted Basement waterproofing - they have me scheduled for the end of this month
The crack is exactly behind electrical panel . I prefer to get it fixed as soon as possible before something bigger happens

I suggest using JMS Masonry - 703.689-3236. He fixed our crack in our foundation.

His name is Jeff Smith and is local.
