Cyclist Hit at Claiborne/Broadlands Blvd

    Meant to post this last night, but we came upone an accident on Tuesday night (sometime around 7:30 or 8PM) in which it appeared that someone on a bicycle had been struck by a car at the intersection/light at Claiborne/Broadlands Blvd. There were quite a few ambulances, etc - does anyone know anything about it (i.e. was the cyclist ok) ?

    We drove past it close to after it must have happened. The rider was on ground surrounded by people, a car and truck were pulled off the road (not sure if they were helping or part of the accident). Looked really serious.
