Desperately Seeking a Wii? - Found some!

After a few weeks of, "Oh, we had a couple but they're gone already." or "You gotta call the store ahead and wait in line before it opens."

I was calling stores the last day before my daughter's 12th birthday and BINGO! GAME STOP on Franklin Farm Rd in Herndon has "several". Note, that you can't call any Game Stop and find out if another has them, you have to call each separately. The Sugarland store gets a couple in stock each day but are sold by noon.

They hide them so you can't see how many and won't put any aside. But, you can call the store and see if they're still there and hurry within the limits of the law to get there.

Be prepared though, the system is $250, but the 2nd controller (sold in 2 pieces) and a couple of games @$50 ea. can run you a bill around $450.

If they have them in stock, I recommend the "Nerf" holders that seem comfortable and add bulk and color to those very expensive and a pain to replace "remotes".

Sams Club had a a few on Sunday. They keep them in the cage next to the tobacco stand. I didn't see them advertised on the floor (normally they have a display with the cardboard fake wii that you take to the register to pay). There were probably 6-7 in the cage on Sunday.

 

Target in Chantilly has them off and on. I got lucky one Sunday, and they had 5 units. I bought mine, went back 20 mins later to get another for my mom (good for mobility) and they were history. Luck of the draw a lot of times.
