I have a number of dead or dying yard tools that I need to get rid of. An old pressure washer and a dead weed wacker. Is there anywhere around here to take them to dispose of? I don't think we're allowed to put them out for trash pickup.

I am dealing with the same question... and I just thought it might be a good idea to call some of these local lawn mower repair places. I bet they might take them for parts or possible use? Just haven't called yet.

Call Patriot - they picked up an old lawn mower for me a few years ago and didn't charge me a disposal fee. You just have to arrange a special pickup and they'll tell you when to put it out.

Ok cool, I'll give them a call and see what they say.
