Can anyone recommend a good gas fireplace repairman. I am just looking for a general cleaning inspection before cold weather gets here.
    Thanks :)

I used Amazing Flame last year and thought they were reasonable. Very professional too.

    We used American Chimney http://americanchimneyva.com/

The guy knew what he was talking about and did a good job. It was $189 to fix a broken gas fireplace and he threw in a quick inspection of the other gas fireplace we had for free.

General cleaning is a very easy do it yourself job. A vacuum, a can of air, and a wet rag should just about do it.
