I'm curious if I need permission to put up a nice gazebo with screen/curtains on the back deck of a townhouse in Southern Walk. It's going to get hot out in the summer and I would like shade. It's not a permanent structure. Do I need to put in an application to the HOA or can I just put it up?

This is what I'm thinking of:

Or a lean to Gazebo like this:

    Thanks!

Review the design guidelines for your project and it will advise if you need to submit an application.

Thanks for the reply. I don't know what design guidelines you're referring to. It's a gazebo that would be assembled and placed on a deck. It is not a permanent structure.
