What do others think of Glory Days? We really like going there, like the menu, like the TVs and individual sound boxes (though they really need to upgrade to more LCDs), like the atmosphere for a family, etc.. My biggest beef there is that it always seems to take forever to get your food, even when it's not very crowded. The manager is always walking around the tables and asking how things are going and is very friendly and the wait staff has generally been very good. The food is good too, but each time we go there there is a mixup with our order or a long delay with the food coming (salad, entree or dessert). We were just there on Saturday and same thing happened. However, we'll continue to go there as it's close by, reasonably priced for what we get and we can watch a variety of sporting events at the same time.

We used to go to the Glory Days in Sterling near Dranesville Rd & Rt 7, so when the Broadlands location opened up we looked forward to it. We've been there a few times, but by comparison the food is more expensive, less tasty and as you said the wait can be unbearable for a place that is half full. Even though it is very close to our house, I could probably count on one hand how many times we've been there since they opened.

Not sure when you go into Glory Days... I frequent Glory Days often and never have to wait for my food longer than any other place...

I also just ate at Glory Days on Sunday and did not have to wait for my food any longer than other places, I actually thought it came out pretty quickly.

We totally agree with mdr227. Always a forever wait! There have been so many times we've had problems, I can't even list them all here. But, yes, we continue to go back. Manager even got really defensive one night when he didn't like what we had to say after he asked us how everything was!!!

I never have a problem with the wait. The quality is not consistent. I usually always order the same dish and sometimes it's great, other times not so much.

We have been many times and have never really had what I would say is a long wait.

I've eaten food from there three times and was unimpressed each time. I've had items that ranged from average (at best) to downright bad.

i really loved the one in sterling but just haven't warmed up to this one. we had a team party there once where they did an excellent job, but every time we've gone for dinner it's been less than satisfactory. once it was inedible- sooo much salt in every dish.

that was months ago though- we haven't been back. hopefully the food has improved, because i'd love to love this place!

but i will say that glory days is a supportive neighbor- they never hesitate to donate to sports teams and local events, so GOODONYA. :)

I've never had to wait over 5 minutes. I stick to the burgers and wings and have never had a complaint.

We went there once, but unfortunately we chose to go on a Saturday afternoon and the place was mobbed with kids and college football fans. Our food took a REALLY long time to get to the table... probably like an hour. We didn't mind too much as we were people watching and I was checking out the games on TV.

The food was standard pub fare, nothing to write home about... but yeah, it was salty as hell!

I'm still partial to Clyde's for pub food, though.

I could probably count on one hand the amount of times we've been, but we've had a few problems each time. Nothing to where we would not go back, considering the location and atmosphere. Once, we had what must've been a new waitress, but she spilled drinks on us/our table, and got the order wrong. Another time the food was very hot (we had to wait a good 5 minutes for it to cool... this is with a hungry toddler), and like someone else said, I usually order the same thing, but it can taste different each time.
