We just want to let everyone know how pleased we have been with the quality of work and service we received from The Care of Trees. We have had several dead trees removed and stumps ground.

Their timeliness, service, and attitude have been impeccable and their price was extremely reasonable. And best of all, they are local. The person that comes out to give estimates is a Broadlands resident. And I think that most of us like to support our neighbors! They are also licensed, bonded and insured. I think it is rare these days to find someone dependable, and when we do, I think it's great to share your experience with others.

(We have already recommended them to several friends who are also using them.)

You can contact them at jbaker@thecareoftrees.com or at (703) 661-1700.

Would it be a good idea to have a separate forum for these types of posts? It might make it easier to search for resident reviews a little easier in the future.

It is nice to have these types of recommendations but it can be a little difficult to find them 6 months from now.

I agree. I wasn't really sure where to post it.

It's hard because what stays current - do you remove discussions that venture purely out of the business review/recommendation stuff, etc?

You'll find most stuff people are talking about in this forum is mostly home repair/upgrade type of stuff. I think it finds a natural home here.

Unless you want to do a specific company review index (which I don't for numerous reasons) I think doing a search a company name yields a lot. Searching for a service is harder, but within reason.

I'd love to as well - but I'm not willing to invest the time and energy to do it - nor do we have someone else trustworthy sitting here doing it either.. so we got what we got :)
