Can someone please catch me up as to why the January HOA fees this month totaled $310, I just got back from traveling for work.

    Thanks

We have no idea why. This is so ridiculous. We didn't receive any notices either. This issue definitely need to be brought up to this insane HOA board. Really pissed!

I think you both live in Southern Walk.... so you should have received a letter and notice from the SWHOA. I am sure you can get a copy if you can not find... but it explains (not very well in my opinion) the rise in HOA fees (e.g., $30 more a month for legal expenses) but as far as your specific $310 I am not sure what all else you pay.

I would call the HOA and request clarification etc.

I think you may have looked at the Pay After This Date (10th of every month) amount which is $210 (hope $310 is a typo)... the actual amount to pay is $185 (for SWHOA) which is a $30 per month increase from last year. Please note this applies to Southern Walk residents only...

I'm guessing you live in SouthernWalk in one of the Courtyard home.
    $185 to SouthernWalk HOA + $125 Broadlands HOA = $310.

Has to do with the failed attempts to litigate our way out of the OpenBand Contract. Would have been cheaper and faster to negotiate a solution but..
