Just wanted to thank you for actually posting one time in the advertising section. The multiple spams in the other sections whilst resurrecting 8-11 year old threads isn't much appreciated. I for one will not be buying wood from you based on this alone!

I am not sure, but I do not think there is a forum rule that says you have to read ALL the posts.

LOL-was hard NOT to notice! It's been awhile since a vendor abused our boards like that, but thankfully they were all deleted except the once appropriately placed advertisement!

Didn’t realize the Broadlands HOA forum had forum cops like you. Good luck in your future endeavors! And, have a fantastic weekend!

Do the requirements of being a forum cop match those of a mall cop?!? Keep up the good work!

By the way, I have never stereotyped myself as a perfectionist. Everybody makes mistakes from time to time. Would you call yourself a perfectionist?

My bad for not being on an HOA forum 24-7. If I were an HOA junky I probably could’ve prevented myself from posting too many ads like I did. And so, I apologize for not knowing the HOA etiquette.

OK....please stop. You are a businessperson trying to sell goods and you need to let this go. Nothing wrong with mall cops-everyone needs a job and they provide a service.

I'm one of two 'Forum Cops" you're mocking. We're volunteers (who live in Broadlands and might be your neighbor) who moderate and administer these forums and keep things orderly for the benefit of the community as a whole. I agree, everyone makes mistakes. Sometimes mistakes can be avoided by using some common sense, or making a small effort to read the Forum rules before posting, especially if you're a business and/or selling something. I was actually the person who cleaned up your posts and moved one to the advertisers section where it belongs.

You've been on these forums for almost 10 years now, so perhaps you might want a small refresher regarding our forum rules: https://www.broadlandshoa.org/hoaforum/index.php?forums/forum-rules-and-information.15/

Sections 7 and 8 might be of interest to you.

Finally, one small suggestion - if you're going to advertise your business or sell something, it's probably a good idea to not mock, belittle or make fun of your potential customers.

I’ve already apologized! Nobody checks these forums anyways. I’d have better luck going door to door.

There have been 167+ views thus far - not bad for a week. If you go door to door, remember solicitors in Loudoun County are supposed to have proof of permit issued by the Sheriff's office when soliciting. As discussed previously in a thread on this forum, the permit verifies that the Sheriff's Office has performed a background check for the protection of county residents. Solicitors are required to have a copy of the permit and ID when going door to door.

    Pretty arrogant, I’d say.
