    Hi All,

We have the kindle app on an ipad and an iphone, and can purchase books through itunes.
We are adding a Kindle to the mix.

My question: If I buy a kindle edition book on amazon, it asks which device it should be sent to. Does that mean I cannot read that same book on the other devices?

    One purchase for one device???

And if I purchase from Amazon, does it work in iTunes or can I sync it to iTunes?

which device just means which it will get pushed to automatically

The other devices can download it 'manually'. The book will be usable on all your kindle 'devices'

you don't need to worry about itunes at all. the kindle software will do everything you need. what you need to take notice is... ibooks (bought through apple) are not interchangable with the kindle books. they are like parallel universes. you can use either or both... but you'll probably find the kindle books more portable and easier to use. the kindle interfaces are pretty straight forward

Awesome, thanks! Good to know about the iBooks. It figures, anything with an *i* in front of it seems to be uber protected from sharing!

That's good information to have since we'll be trying to bring my Dad up to speed on his Kindle HD.

Teamdonzi, the *i* does seem to imply some intellectual / proprietary right. *I* just never thought of it that way until you brought it up.
