    Hey guys,

Since I get the latest info on the area for all of you, does anyone know what went down in the Ashburn Village shopping plaza last night? A co-worker of mine said that you could not get into the plaza b/c their were a ton of cops surrounding the bank and McDonalds. This was around 9pm. She thought it might have been a bank robbery but McDonalds was surrounded...?

OOPS - Sorry guys, I meant the Giant on Claiborne Parkway, not Ashburn Village (she gave me the wrong info). Sorry to confuse anyone.

Where's the local newspaper on this? Spending their time selling ads and doing back to school stories - which by the way sell ads.

I hate to perpetuate rumor.. .but I heard there was a hostage situation in the employee breakroom at the Giant...

Or you could just use the information the Sherriff provides every day.. or just return to complaining.

Ashburn is such an exciting place. I just talked to my son about the suspicious package. He's a Senior. Anyway, he tells me it only took minutes before word spread via text message to a ton of kids. Of course, he and his buds drove over to the site, and apparently there were more kids over near the McDonalds to watch the "suspense" than after a Friday night football game. To bad there isn't more stuff for these kids to do in Ashburn.
