I am looking for a good and LOVING preschool. Preferably on the small side, such as a home based preschool. Any suggestions? Or recommendations?

Winnie the Pooh on Belmont Ridge Road www.wtpp.org. Small setting, friendly, loving, nurturing staff has been teaching there for years. You can search many other posts on these forums about the school.

My Favorite Place Preschool is a home based preschool in the broadlands. The teacher there is very sweet, great with kids (she has 5 of her own) and is a former elementary school teacher. My son goes there and loves it! Here is there web site. Feel free to PM if you have any questions.

We too recommend My Favorite Place Preschool - our daughter went there when she was 2.5 for 2 days per week. We found it was the perfect setting for this age group and she loved the teacher as well! Due to a time conflict we switched to Open Arms Preschool for her 3 year old preschool this year and are very pleased Open Arms as well.
    Good Luck in your search.

I know I plug these guys all the time, but Bean Tree is really wonderful and loving. They are big, but very interactive, caring, and focused on the kids.

Attached is the spreadsheet from last month's preschool forum held by the local MOMS Clubs. It's a great place to start.

I will third My Favorite Place Preschool. Our son goes there 3x/week and really enjoys it. The teacher's credentials are impressive and her demeanor is very warming, loving, and caring. I've been thoroughly impressed.
