A friend of mine received a message from a woman she knows in Brambleton:

"About noon on Saturday, 15 June, I and another gentleman tried to stop two dogs (one of which was his) fighting at the Brambleton Dog Park. I was bitten by a grey and whitish terrier/poodle-type small dog that had suffered quite a bit of damage to one or both of its ears.

In the activity following the fight, I neglected to get the dog owner’s contact information for animal control and to verify the currency of the dog’s rabies vaccination. I’m hoping the owner (or someone who knows the owner) will contact me as soon as possible. Unfortunately, without verification of the dog’s rabies vaccination by the week’s end, I will have to start rabies vaccination shots on or about Saturday, June 22. My name is Scott. I can be reached at 703-577-1748 (mobile) or 571-209-7401 (work mobile)."

If anyone has any information that can possibly help Scott, please give him a call! I have heard that rabies vaccination shots are very painful ... I hope that someone will come forward!
