I just started a new job at Skyline in Falls Church, and am looking for someone to share the commute and take advantage of HOV-2. I typically leave at 6:30am arriving at 7:20-7:30, and leave Skyline at 3:30pm or so. But I would consider other times if I could use HOV and share gas & parking. Anyone interested? Let me know. Thanks!

Ashame you can't work in the warehouse building off Rt 28. Assuming you are talking about Skyline the company that does trade show booths

    Skyline does our booths :)

Sadly, no. That would be a MAJOR improvement to my commute. It's not that I find the ride intolerable - it's just that being able to use Rte. 66 instead of 495 to 50 to 7 would shave some time off the ride.

I am no longer going to Skyline every day or I'd chat with you. I've considered a GS position but with OTSG possibly moving to Bethesda in 2 years I'm not sure that's a commute I want to consider.

Have you tried using Gallows Road? At your time of the morning though, 50 is probably still moving. from 495 to Skyline, via Gallows it would usually be 15 to 20mins whereas it has taken me 30mins to go across 50.

    Volvo,

Thanks for the reply. I had not considered Gallows Rd., but will look into it based on your advice. Route 50 at 7:00am is sometimes easy, sometimes hard.

I know someone in Sky 6 who works for OTSG -- he comes from Alexandria though. BTW, I don't think he is looking forward to the impending move to BNH/NIH either. At least he can take Metro.
