Hello. Looking to go to Myrtle Beach this summer after many years in the Outer Banks. Looking to stay in North Myrtle, an ocean front resort, lots of pools. I know most of the resorts/hotels meet this criteria but it seems that so many have older/outdated rooms. Looking for full kitchen, will be travelling with 2 adults and three middle school aged children. I have checked SO many hotels so I would appreciate any input some of you might have from your own experiences. Very grateful!

We booked at North Beach Plantation for the first time this year and are SUPER excited. It will be our first time in North Myrtle. We've seen the property before and it looks amazing. We normally stay at Island Vista which is also great resort with wonderful rooms.

We have stayed here several times. My grandparents own a condo in the building. They also have rental condos. The place is spotless, everyone is so nice and each condo looks like a model. Very neutral and stylish. They supply dishes etc. They have a couple of pools (indoor and out). The only bummer is that it isn't exactly ocean front. It is across the street, but still has great ocean views.
I can't speak for summer, because we have only ever rented during spring break, but the prices are amazing compared to our OBX rentals.

Hands down, for space, pools, North Myrtle quiet location and kid's activities, the Marriott timeshares resort. Stayed there twice and would go back.

+1 for Wyndam Seawatch Plantation, although I don't think it's in "North" Myrtle. We just went and loved it!
