Need landscape recommendation

Hello All,

We are searching for a reasonably priced landscape company to do some minor work around the perimeter of our newly built deck. We need someone to cut about a 3' wide strip of sod along an approximately 15' long section around the base of the deck, till the earth, and mix in some compost in preparation for some planting we want to do ourselves. I've contacted a few places, and they require either a $700 or $1,000 minimum. We know this job should be considerably less than that, but can't seem to find a company small enough to do it (and of course we carelessly discarded all of the flyers we've found in our mailbox). Plus, we just don't have the time or energy to rent the equipment and do it ourselves.

Can anyone recommend a person or a small company who will do this type of work?
