Forum Tip New Forum Notification Feature!

    I've enabled another new feature that will help you know when you have alerts here on the Broadlands site

    You know those little red indicators you get in the top right corner of the site whenever someone tags you (like @T8erman or @hornerjo) or replies to a thread you were active in?

    Well now they will show up in your browser's tab icon for the site. So what? Well this means if you have the site open in your browser, even if you are not viewing the site currently, you will see your alerts!

    This also is used for bookmarks. So, if you are cool and have the broadlands forums site in your bookmark toolbar, you can see the alerts there as well!

    Example:

    Note, the bookmark icon and the tab icon both have the red 4 displayed to let you know this user had 4 pending alerts.

    How often your bookmark icons update will be browser dependent, but I've seen with Chrome at least, it seems to seamless and shows the updates all the time.

    So get that Broadlands HOA forums link in your bookmarks, and start tagging your friends, liking their posts, etc and you'll get their attention quickly :)
