For those of you who are water lovers of Aquatic Centers and Waterparks--Baltimore, MD will be getting an Indoor Waterpark near Inner Harbor and BWI Airport. The Aquatic Center will feature a 125,000 square feet Waterpark and a huge Resort Complex. (No--flex buildings here for Lee--:happygrin:;)!)

The resort will be called the Crosswinds Resort with over 1100 rooms available and a 100,000 square feet "City Walk". Opening date is late 2009 and web site/info is--

    www.thecrosswindsresort.com (Crosswind's site/info with drawings, etc.)

Also, About.com reported future Indoor Waterparks/Aquatic Centers plans for the USA for the next few years. Here is the article and links--

    www.themeparks.about.com/od/newindo...Indoor_Water_Park_Resorts_Opening_in_2007.htm (About.com's site.)

    Good reads--

Thanks Foodie, you know I drool over first class projects like this. They even have roof gardens like I have designed on some of my homes:) Love this project development looks beautiful which is first of course.

Well I think we need to redesign the broadlands rec center into something like this ha ha ha ha :clap::clap::clap::clap:

Then put up bonds to build it and sell it to the public as a rec center that will eventually make a huge profit :clap: I am on a roll here now so what if it costs several hundred million ours will be nicer:):):) because eventually it will become a profit center for loudoun. Just think of the schools and education we could give our kids from the profits of a rec center like this. ANd what a place for the teens to hang out and big kids like me ha ha ha:) and of course the little people and their parents.

Foodie I think we are on to something girl:) I like it alot:):):)

    Lee--

As one of my boys likes to quote--"You crack me up like an egg":huh:--couldn't resist!

After all the hard times about you "flex-ing" your Commercial Building knowledge (i.e. muscles)--maybe I should bring you some of the 5 dozen Apple Fritters that I finished baking this morning. I have a Fall Fair at our kids school and church for the "little munchkins"--not Dunkin Donuts variety--just Mennonite!

Yeah--the Baltimore Waterpark will be nice--can't wait!

Maybe Santa will deliver a basket of "goodies" to "y'all"--

    Gotta eat with family--have fun--

    Fellow Water Lovers--

I heard on WJLA News tonight at 11 pm that Fredericksburg, VA will have a $200 Million Indoor Waterpark built by 2009 near Celebrate America facilities. The resort will be built by a group from Ohio that is called KALAHARI RESORT and have a 125,000 square foot waterpark. The resort is based in Sandusky, Ohio areas where Great Wolf Lodge also has another waterpark location. The web site/info is below--

www.wjla.com/news/stories/1107/473365.html (WJLA's site/info on NEW Kalahari Resort Waterpark story.)

    www.kalahariresort.com (Kalahari Resort's site/info.)

Great place to look forward to--

Wisconsin Dells has some of the best waterparks in the country, at least from what I have seen. They have Great Wolf Lodge, Kalahari and The Wilderness. I have been to Great Wolf in southern VA and my brother stayed at The Kalahari in the Dells. I think they had a spa also. He enjoyed it! I loved The Wilderness! They had a fabulous game room and huge rope play/arcade/ball structure. Much better than Great Wolf.

I will be excited to try the Kalahari.
