    Claiborne Pkwy./Ashburn Farm Parkway
    Ashburn
    Pedestrian Struck: A 22-year-old lawn care worker from Luray, VA, was in the grassy area of the north side of Ashburn Farm Parkway just east of Claiborne Parkway when he was struck by an older model black four-door sedan. The vehicle was traveling westbound on Ashburn Farm Parkway and continued to drive after striking the victim. The vehicle may have some minor damage on the passenger side and/or the hood. The victim received minor injuries. If you have any information regarding the suspect vehicle, or the identity of the driver, please contact DFC D. Lake at 703-737-8307.

    Oh my gosh, I saw lots of lawn workers today in that area, they were walking in the median and dangerously close to the curb. Hope he's ok. It can be disconcerting when they are that near the road, but hey folks, foot off the pedal and some consideration for those keeping our community in tip top shape.
