HOA Question Questionable billing practices at First Service Residential/Armstrong.

    Mine is set up to for direct debit on the first of the month and January 2014 BHOA dues came out of checking account on 01/07/2014 - the 4th business day. From Feb 2013 thru Dec 2013 all direct debits were done no later than the 3rd business day. Guess I'll monitor this for a few months to make sure debits occur when they're supposed to.

    Basically they (FSR) changed their bank (and/or payment processor) and it changed when payments that had been working fine for YEARS were being applied to accounts... and residents had no idea of this until after they got dinged with late fees (sometimes without notice). That was my main issue. I provided them with documentation/etc and they fixed it, finally.
