A mystery to me why anybody in their right mind would open another restaurant in that plaza.

Yea, you wonder whether they've done their research. We love Pho Bistro and eat there often but it's usually pretty empty. Back when they were in the Ice Rink plaza they seemed to have more business.

It's all about what you're offering/serving. Five guys and Pollo Factory always have a boatload of customers. It comes down to price, food quality and convenience...

We tried Hudon's on Friday night. On the upside, the space is (still) very nice, including a bit more outdoor dining space. Drinks and appetizers were very good. Service was reasonably good as well, considering how new the place is (opened June 5th). On the downside, we had high hopes for the food based on the menu. It was mediocre at best. Tuna club and crab cakes were pretty rough. French dip and BBQ sandwich were edible. Hopefully they improve over time - otherwise it'll be relegated to a weekend drinking hole.

Wow, you had a different experience than my wife and I. The food and service were great, We went Saturday night and my wife had the cream/crab soup want she said it was really good. For dinner, she had the blackened steak salad (I think that's what it was called) and she was impressed by that as well. I had a burger, that was good, it was "juicy" and not dreid out like some of the burger in the area, also the beer was very cold. Which is alway a plus in my book! I plan on going back this weekend with the whole family.

My complaint, the table we were seated was not level. When my wife cut the steak (couple of pieces a little large) the table shook and spilled a little beer over the side of my new glass.

I hope this place makes it as I get tired of seeing restaurants and businesses fail in the area.
