Yesterday, went walking around the neighborhood and encountered a guy smoking a big fat cigar blowing smoke at the entrance to the nature garden near Mill Run School on Ridgeway Drive. Cigar was so foul smelling and billows of smoke was obscuring the entrance-

Question is- is Cigar and cigarette smoking permitted??? I imagine they litter the grounds with ciggie and cigar butts??

    just disgusting

Is the garden outdoors? I would assume it is legal to smoke outdoors. Indoors certainly not.

yeah? I have seen some HOAs ban smoking in their nature gardens or kiddie playgrounds because some people are allergic to smoke when they are sitting on the benches, etc. Not only that but some people may throw in extinguished cigars or cigarettes in the trash bins causing a fire damaging HOA property. I think certain areas should have smoking be prohibited by HOAs so people allergic to smoke can enjoy those areas as they pay HOA fees too- not only that, but it would prevent cigar or cigarette littering as well on the same properties. Just sayin’.
