Saw the same truck on the way to work today, agree with you this is horrible.

I often walk my dog at night on that road. I'm not sure who is doing this or what else they are capable of. Looks like I'll be open carrying if I have to walk my dog late at night now.

I also had my wheels stolen off of my 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 during the overnight hours between Monday NOV9th and Tuesday NOV 10th. My truck was parked in the common parking spots on Riders Square on the northern side of Iredell Terrace. If anybody happened to see anything suspicious or happens to by chance have any pertinent security footage I would much appreciate it. Truck1.jpg Truck2.jpg

Any idea why these are all GMs?

I was talking with a deputy today that had taken one of the reports and he confirmed they are all GM products -Chevrolet or GMC, trucks and SUVs. Additionally, he added it is not just Ashburn, but all over Northern VA and that the cases have been turned over to the Detectives. For once, I am glad I have a Ford.

Good suggestion on WTOP today... Turn your front wheels all the way left or right making it harder to get to the lugs because they'll be slightly in line with the edge of the fender. Theives may skip over your vehicle because it will take more time.

I'm removing my wheels and storing them bedside every night.

In all seriousness, hopefully this is just a passing fad and not something we'll have to deal with continuously. Hope someone catches these guys red-handed.
