If you were at our Southern Walk Taco Bell on Friday or Saturday this past weekend and used a credit card to pay for your order, you may want to check your account and make sure your card number was not "shared" with anyone else. I am not outright accusing them but my card number was stolen over the weekend (which could have happened any where) except that my transaction at taco bell was the only one not registered as a charge from my account. When I spoke to the manager today - he did say that they had credit card machine issues the same day I was there - but I also don't believe in coincidences like that.

Luckily my bank has an excellent fraud department and it was charged as credit not debit so the attempted fraudulent charge was denied and my card immediately cancelled. A good cautionary tale for us all.

Did you happen to use it at the Exxon on Loudoun County Pkwy & the Greenway, near the aloft hotel? Heard that has been happening frequently.

No I didn't, but the devices being used are getting better and better. I did also use a gas station I never use in Sterling on Thursdays (that one across the street from Creme de la creme).
